At PayPal you confirm your subscription with the new price; the pro rata amount until the next payment is charged once. Your previous subscription then ends automatically – nothing is charged twice.
Payment is processed by PayPal – with a PayPal account or directly with a credit/debit card. There is no new key; your existing licence is extended.
