Windows 11/Server 2025: USB Audio Class 1.0 devices fail (Code 10) or give no sound

USB Audio Class 1.0 devices reportedly fail with Code 10 or produce no sound on Windows 11 and Windows Server 2025. This is reported by users, not yet confirmed by the vendor. No permanent fix has been found; a third-party page claims the Windows Server 2022 update KB5126655 fixes it, which is unverified.

WorkaroundKnown issue

Windows Server: Users might be unable to sign in to OWA or send emails on Exchange Server

After the October 2026 Windows security update, some on-premises Exchange servers might have trouble accessing or sending email. The update introduced a default limit on the memory Endpoint Mapper uses for Endpoint Lookup calls, which can be too low for Exchange under heavy load. Microsoft lists the status as mitigated and is still investigating.

Since the October 13, 2026 updates, Exchange servers running on affected Windows Server versions may become unstable after some time. Microsoft states this is not an Exchange update issue. A registry workaround (EpmapSavedContextCap) is available; no follow-up fix is imminent.
