Oracle Identity Manager Connector: Improper access control allows data manipulation

CVE-2026-91492High 8.7

← All vulnerabilities

Summary

Oracle Identity Manager Connector (SAP ERP+ component) contains an improper access control flaw (CWE-284, CVSS 3.1 8.7). An unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP can create, modify or delete critical data and access data accessible to the connector, with possible impact on connected systems. Exploitation is rated as difficult (high attack complexity).

Affected

  • Oracle Identity Manager Connector 12.2.1.4.0
  • Oracle Identity Manager Connector 14.1.2.1.0

Fixed in

  • Unknown. Apply the patch for the affected connector versions from Oracle's October 2026 Critical Patch Update (https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuoct2026.html) and take the exact build from that advisory.

Workaround

  • No workaround provided in the CVE record.

Exploitation

  • No evidence of exploitation in the wild found.
  • CISA SSVC: exploitation none, automatable no. Not listed in CISA KEV.
  • EPSS below 1%.
  • No public proof of concept found (search not exhaustive).

Our recommendation

  • Check whether any client runs Oracle Identity Manager or this connector. If not, document as not applicable.
  • If yes, apply Oracle's October 2026 patch to all 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 deployments.
  • Confirm that the Identity Manager and connector HTTP endpoints are not reachable from the internet; restrict access to internal networks or VPN until patched.
  • Review access logs for unexpected requests and check the other October 2026 Oracle identity CVEs (CVE-2026-91490, CVE-2026-91491, CVE-2026-91493, CVE-2026-91494).

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
