Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator: Unauthenticated remote takeover (CVSS 10.0)
Summary
A critical flaw in the E1 IOT Orchestrator Security component of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator affects versions 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.26.5. An unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP can fully compromise the Orchestrator, and the scope change means other products may also be significantly impacted. No user interaction or privileges are required, and the attack is of low complexity.
Affected
- Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator, versions 9.2.0.0 to 9.2.26.5 (per CVE record)
Fixed in
Unknown. Fixed release and patch ID are not confirmed; see Oracle October 2026 Critical Patch Update advisory.
Workaround
- No vendor workaround found.
- Remove any direct internet exposure of the Orchestrator HTTP interface.
- Restrict access to administrative networks until the Oracle patch is applied.
Exploitation
- CISA SSVC: exploitation none, automatable yes.
- Not listed in CISA KEV.
- Oracle advisory does not confirm active exploitation; no public proof-of-concept confirmed so far.
- An unverified claim of exploitation in mid-October 2026 exists and is not confirmed by primary sources.
Our recommendation
- Confirm whether JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator is deployed.
- Remove internet exposure of its HTTP interface and restrict it to administrative networks now.
- Apply the Oracle October 2026 CPU fix as soon as the exact patch is confirmed, and verify it.
- Monitor logs for unusual HTTP requests to the Orchestrator.
Public exploits
PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
