CVE-2026-91269High 8.1

← All vulnerabilities

Summary

A flaw in the Enterprise Infrastructure SEC component of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 9.2.0.0 to 9.2.26.5 allows an authenticated low-privileged user with network access over HTTP to compromise the product. Successful attacks can lead to unauthorized creation, deletion or modification of critical data and unauthorized read access to data accessible to the application. Availability is not affected according to the CVSS vector.

Affected

  • Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 9.2.0.0 to 9.2.26.5 (Enterprise Infrastructure SEC component)

Fixed in

  • Oracle security patch released in the October 2026 Critical Patch Update (patch identifiers for 9.2.x: check the Oracle advisory, not verified here)

Workaround

  • Unknown. The CVE record provides no vendor workaround.
  • Generic hardening only (not vendor guidance): restrict access to the HTTP interface, use VPN or IP allowlisting, and require authentication.

Exploitation

  • CISA KEV: not listed.
  • EPSS: below 1% (very low).
  • Public proof of concept: none found in research, which does not rule out existence.
  • CISA SSVC: exploitation none, not automatable, total technical impact.

Our recommendation

  • Apply the Oracle October 2026 Critical Patch Update to affected JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools versions.
  • Check whether the JD Edwards HTTP interface is reachable from the internet; if so, treat as high priority.
  • Restrict network access to the interface and review low-privileged accounts, including former-employee accounts.
  • Check whether JD Edwards Orchestrator (CVE-2026-91299) is installed and patch it first if so.
  • Monitor logs for unusual data changes or deletions.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
