Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools: Improper access control

CVE-2026-91266High 8.4

← All vulnerabilities

Summary

A flaw in the Monitoring and Diagnostics SEC component of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools allows an authenticated low-privileged user to compromise the product. An attacker with a logon on the infrastructure where the tools run can create, modify or delete critical data and access data accessible to the tools, and the impact can extend beyond JD Edwards. Exploitation requires no user interaction, but the attacker needs valid local access.

Affected

  • Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools, supported versions 9.2.0.0 to 9.2.26.5

Fixed in

  • Fixed in the Oracle Critical Patch Update of October 2026. The specific patch and minimum release for this CVE are unknown; check Oracle's documentation.

Workaround

Unknown. No vendor-documented workaround found; patching is the only confirmed fix.

Exploitation

  • CISA SSVC: exploitation none, automatable no, technical impact total.
  • Not listed in CISA KEV; EPSS below 1%.
  • No public proof of concept found at time of research.

Our recommendation

  • Confirm the installed EnterpriseOne Tools version and apply the October 2026 CPU patch, including the minimum patch level from Oracle.
  • Patch JD Edwards Orchestrator in the same window if it is enabled, as it has more urgent October fixes.
  • Review and reduce accounts with logon rights to JD Edwards servers.
  • Monitor for updates, as the NVD analysis is still in progress.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
