Oracle SOA Suite: Unauthenticated access to data in Fabric Layer

CVE-2026-91219High 8.6

← All vulnerabilities

Summary

CVE-2026-91219 affects the Fabric Layer component of Oracle SOA Suite (Oracle Fusion Middleware) in versions 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. An unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP can exploit it without user interaction. Successful attacks can lead to unauthorized access to critical data and, according to the CVE record, to all data accessible to SOA Suite, and can affect other products because of a scope change.

Affected

  • Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4.0
  • Oracle SOA Suite 14.1.2.0.0
  • Whether earlier releases are affected: Unknown.

Fixed in

  • Fixed in Oracle Critical Patch Update October 2026 (Rev 2, 26 October 2026, per the Oracle security alerts index).
  • Patch identifier per version: Unknown; see the SOA Suite section of Oracle's advisory.

Workaround

  • No vendor workaround known.
  • Interim measure (own assessment, not from Oracle): restrict HTTP access to the SOA Suite Fabric Layer endpoints to trusted networks or a VPN.

Exploitation

  • CVSS 3.1 base score 8.6, vector AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N.
  • CISA SSVC: exploitation none, automatable yes, technical impact partial.
  • Not in the CISA KEV catalogue as of 21 October 2026.
  • No public proof of concept found.
  • No confirmed exploitation of this CVE known.

Our recommendation

  • Check whether SOA Suite 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.0.0 is in use, and whether Fabric Layer endpoints are reachable from the internet.
  • Apply the Oracle October 2026 Critical Patch Update to SOA Suite, together with the other October 2026 SOA Suite fixes, after verifying the patch identifiers in Oracle's advisory.
  • Until patched, restrict HTTP access to trusted networks and review SOA/WebLogic logs for unusual requests to these endpoints.
  • Treat as high priority if the endpoints are exposed to the internet.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
