Fixed in

  • Upgrade to 6.14.1 or later
  • Upgrade to 6.11.16 or later

(Per Tenable and Secure-iss. Confirm in HPE bulletin HPESBNW05158.)

Exploitation

  • No exploitation in the wild found as of publication (HPE advisory).

Our recommendation

  • Patch ClearPass Policy Manager to 6.14.1 or 6.11.16 (or later) as soon as possible.
  • Until patched, restrict access to the web UI and API to a dedicated management network or jump host, and check whether the interface is reachable from the internet.
  • Monitor administrative logins for unexpected activity.
  • Also review related CVEs in the same HPE bulletin, such as CVE-2026-76750 and CVE-2026-79796.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
