Omnispace Agora Project: Broken access control in MobileFileDownload
Summary
The Omnispace Agora Project before version 26.10.0 contains a broken access control flaw in the MobileFileDownload route. An unauthenticated attacker can compute an md5(filename) token instead of passing a proper authorization check and download arbitrary protected files. The attacker needs to guess or determine file names, and the impact is limited to confidentiality.
Affected
- Omnispace Agora Project, all versions before 26.10.0 (CVE record: affected 0 to < 26.10.0)
Fixed in
- Upgrade to Agora Project 26.10.0 or later. The GitHub release for 26.10 is linked in the sources; the visible release notes do not explicitly mention this route fix, so confirm it in the full release notes.
Workaround
- Unknown. The vendor has not stated a workaround; the patch is the upgrade.
Exploitation
- No evidence of exploitation in the wild found. CISA SSVC: Exploitation none, Automatable yes, Technical Impact partial.
- No public proof of concept found in the sources checked.
- No CISA KEV entry found.
Our recommendation
- Upgrade all Agora Project instances to 26.10.x (latest available release).
- Until patched, restrict access to the instance via VPN or IP allow-listing and check whether the MobileFileDownload route is reachable from the internet.
- Review web server logs for requests to the MobileFileDownload route and assess whether sensitive files may have been exposed.
- Also patch against CVE-2026-63146, a critical unauthenticated code-injection flaw affecting the same product versions.
- Priority: high for internet-facing instances, medium for instances behind VPN or authentication only.
Public exploits
PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.

Original description (NVD)
Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains a broken access control vulnerability in the MobileFileDownload route that allows unauthenticated attackers to download arbitrary files by computing an md5(filename) token instead of passing a proper authorization check. Attackers can guess or determine file names to generate the corresponding md5 token and retrieve protected files without authorization, leading to unauthorized information disclosure.
