Omnispace Agora Project: SQL identifier injection enables privilege escalation

CVE-2026-63154High 8.7

← All vulnerabilities

Summary

Agora Project before 26.10.0, an open-source workspace application sold as Omnispace, contains a SQL identifier injection in the user import flow. A space administrator can supply caller-controlled agoraFields[] names as unvalidated SQL column identifiers, including privileged names such as generalAdmin, to set administrative flags. This allows escalation to general administrator privileges. The attacker needs network access and a space administrator account.

Affected

  • Omnispace Agora Project versions before 26.10.0 (CNA range: 0 to < 26.10.0)

Fixed in

  • Upgrade to 26.10.0 or later. OSV lists fix commit 92320bc.
  • The vendor release notes for 26.10 do not name this fix; check the full notes before relying on them.

Workaround

Unknown. The sources list no workaround other than upgrading.

  • Interim measure (not from a source): limit the number of space administrator accounts and restrict who can run user imports until the upgrade is done.

Exploitation

  • No evidence of exploitation in the wild found.
  • No public proof of concept found.
  • CISA SSVC assessment: Exploitation none, Automatable no, Technical Impact total.

Our recommendation

  • Upgrade Agora Project to 26.10.0 or later.
  • Review space administrator accounts and remove unneeded rights.
  • Check the user list for unexpected general administrator accounts.
  • Treat the upgrade as covering all Agora CVEs from this batch, and prioritise internet-facing instances.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
