StylemixThemes uListing: Unauthenticated SQL injection

CVE-2026-62031Critical 9.3

← All vulnerabilities

Summary

The uListing WordPress plugin up to version 2.2.0 is affected by an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability (CVE-2026-62031, CVSS 9.3). An unauthenticated remote attacker can inject SQL commands via a network request, which may allow reading, modifying or deleting database content, including user accounts and private data. No user interaction or login is required, so public WordPress sites running the plugin are most exposed. No known exploitation or public proof of concept was found at the time of research.

Affected

  • uListing WordPress plugin, versions up to and including 2.2.0

Fixed in

  • Unknown. No fixed version or vendor advisory was found.

Workaround

  • Deactivate and remove the plugin if it is not essential.
  • If the plugin must stay, place a web application firewall or virtual patch in front of it.
  • Restrict database user privileges to the minimum and keep backups current.
  • Review web logs for database errors or unusual parameters on uListing endpoints.

Exploitation

  • Known exploitation: none found.
  • Public proof of concept: none found.
  • CISA SSVC: exploitation none, automatable yes, technical impact partial.
  • Patchstack rates the issue high priority and expects exploitation.

Our recommendation

  • Check all WordPress sites for uListing version 2.2.0 or lower.
  • Remove the plugin where it is not needed.
  • Where it is needed, apply a virtual patch or WAF rule immediately and restrict access where possible.
  • Monitor the Patchstack entry, the NVD record and the vendor changelog for a fix, and update as soon as a fixed version is available.
  • Review logs and backups for signs of compromise.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
