  • VulDB states that no exploit is available but describes exploitation as easy and remotely initiable.
  • EPSS is about 0.017 (low).

Our recommendation

  • Identify all TR7 ASP appliances (physical and virtual) and their exact build numbers. Do not confuse them with T&D TR-7 data loggers.
  • Upgrade to 1.0.1554.2331 or 1.6.1554.2331 as applicable, and verify the build.
  • Until patched, remove internet exposure of the management interface and limit access to admin networks.
  • Check logs for unexpected administrative activity.
  • Also review related CVE-2026-16740, published the same day and covering the same versions.
  • Re-check NVD, CISA KEV and VulDB, as the status may change.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
