QuantumCloud Conversational Forms for ChatBot: PHP Object Injection

CVE-2026-110886Critical 9.8

← All vulnerabilities

Summary

The WordPress plugin Conversational Forms for ChatBot by QuantumCloud contains a deserialization flaw (CWE-502) that allows PHP object injection. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send crafted input to the site, which may lead to harmful actions on the server, including code execution depending on other installed plugins and themes. The attack requires no login and no user interaction, so any internet-facing WordPress site with the plugin active is at risk.

Affected

  • QuantumCloud Conversational Forms for ChatBot (WordPress plugin, slug conversational-forms)
  • Versions up to and including 1.5.1 (CVE text reads "from n/a through 1.5.1")

Fixed in

  • Version 1.5.2 (Patchstack reports this as the patched version; vendor confirmation not found)

Workaround

  • No vendor-published workaround found.
  • Deactivate and remove the plugin if its forms are not needed.
  • Consider a WAF or virtual patch while updating, as Patchstack offers a mitigation rule.

Exploitation

  • No confirmed exploitation in the wild found at the time of writing.
  • Not listed as actively exploited in the CISA KEV catalogue according to aggregators (not checked directly).
  • No public proof of concept confirmed by secondary sources.
  • Patchstack expects exploitation and calls the flaw highly dangerous; this is a prediction, not evidence of attacks.

Our recommendation

  • Check now whether the plugin is installed and which version is active.
  • Update to version 1.5.2 or later, or remove the plugin if it is not needed.
  • Review recent web server logs for unexpected requests to the plugin.
  • Note that the plugin vendor has described these add-ons as outdated; check whether the plugin is still maintained.
  • Treat any unpatched, internet-facing site as high priority.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
