CVE-2026-101834High 8.1

← All vulnerabilities

Summary

Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 to 12.2.15 contain an access control flaw (CWE-284) in the Shipping Execution module, Workflow Events component. An unauthenticated attacker with HTTP access to the network can compromise Shipping Execution, and Oracle describes a possible takeover of the module, with high impact on confidentiality, integrity and availability (CVSS 3.1: 8.1). Exploitation is rated difficult because the attack complexity is high.

Affected

  • Oracle E-Business Suite, Shipping Execution, Workflow Events component
  • Versions 12.2.3 to 12.2.15

Fixed in

Unknown. The fix is part of Oracle's October 2026 Critical Patch Update; the exact patch for this CVE was not confirmed.

Workaround

Unknown. No vendor workaround identified. Do not use a workaround instead of patching.

Exploitation

  • No known exploitation in the wild or public proof of concept at the time of research.
  • CISA SSVC: exploitation none, not automatable.
  • The status may change; monitor CISA KEV and the Oracle advisory.

Our recommendation

  • Check whether an affected EBS 12.2.3 to 12.2.15 instance with Shipping Execution exists and whether it is reachable from the internet.
  • Obtain the exact patch from the Oracle October 2026 CPU advisory and My Oracle Support note KA923, and apply it after testing.
  • Until patched, restrict access to EBS and middleware consoles to internal networks.
  • Monitor logs for unusual HTTP requests to EBS and review CISA KEV for changes.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
