Summary

Oracle Enterprise Manager Base Platform versions 13.5 and 24.1 are affected by a vulnerability in the Enterprise Manager Install component. A low-privileged user with logon rights on the host running the Enterprise Manager infrastructure can compromise the product. Affected

  • Oracle Enterprise Manager Base Platform 13.5
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager Base Platform 24.1

Fixed in

  • Fixed in the Oracle Critical Patch Update of October 2026. Patch IDs for 13.5 and 24.1 are listed in the advisory patch availability section; verify them there.

Workaround

  • Unknown. No vendor workaround found.
  • While patching: restrict local logon to the Enterprise Manager host to administrators and review accounts with logon rights.

Exploitation

  • No evidence of exploitation in the wild found; not listed in CISA KEV in the sources checked.
  • No public proof of concept found.
  • EPSS in one third-party snapshot: 0.00151 (low), to be verified at FIRST.org.

Our recommendation

  • Apply the October 2026 Oracle CPU patch to Enterprise Manager Base Platform 13.5 and 24.1 in the regular patch window.
  • Prioritise other higher-scored Enterprise Manager issues in the same CPU first.
  • Restrict local logon to the Enterprise Manager host and review accounts with logon rights.
  • Verify the CISA KEV status and the NVD analysis before closing the ticket.
