InstaWP Connect plugin: Cross-site request forgery

The WordPress plugin InstaWP Connect (instawp-connect) through version 0.1.4.2 is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). An attacker can make a logged-in privileged user perform actions they did not intend, if that user visits a malicious link or page. The attacker needs no account on the site, but user interaction is required. The description does not state which action can be forged, so the real impact is unknown.

String Locator WordPress plugin: Unauthenticated PHP object injection via database editor

The String Locator WordPress plugin before version 2.6.8 does not restrict which classes may be instantiated when it deserializes database row content saved through its database editor. An unauthenticated attacker can store a serialized PHP object that is instantiated when an administrator later opens and saves that row. If a suitable gadget chain is present through another installed String Locator plugin version before 2.6.8, the impact can extend to arbitrary file deletion, sensitive data disclosure or remote code execution.
