Our recommendation

  • Update Google Chrome to version 156.0.8078.79 or later on all endpoints now and verify the version in your management tooling.
  • Enforce updates via MDM or Chrome Enterprise policy.
  • Check that other Chromium-based browsers (for example Edge, Brave, Vivaldi) are also updated.
  • The same release fixes 21 security issues; patch the whole build.
  • Monitor the CISA KEV catalogue and the Chromium bug tracker for changes.
