Our recommendation

  • Update Google Chrome on all managed desktops to the latest stable build, at least 156.0.8078.47.
  • Restart browsers after the update, since a staged update is not active until restart.
  • Confirm the installed version through device inventory, including shared and kiosk systems.
  • Check Chromium-based browsers (for example Microsoft Edge) for their own updates.

Public exploits

PoC-in-GitHub, Metasploit and Exploit-DB list nothing for this CVE.
