vsftpd: Authentication bypass in FTPS data channel session reuse
vsftpd through 3.0.5 contains an authentication bypass in ssl_data_accept() that affects FTPS data connections. An unauthenticated attacker who shares the victim's source IP can obtain a TLS session ticket via AUTH TLS and connect to the victim's PASV port to steal downloads or inject uploaded data. The attack requires a shared source IP, such as the same NAT or office network, or a position on the network path.
